What does the MEP 2040 Challenge mean for the construction industry?

Thursday, March 7th – 10:00 AM EST / 7:00 AM PST

What does the MEP 2040 Challenge mean for the construction industry?

A One Click LCA Carbon Experts Live discussion with Kayleigh Houde, Founding Member and Co-Chair of the MEP 2040 Commitment.

Buildings are the largest global contributor of carbon emissions, contributing 57% of total emissions — and MEP systems contribute up to 50% of the carbon in commercial buildings and retrofits.

The MEP 2040 Challenge is calling on building systems designers to transform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within the AEC sector, setting a bold target of net-zero carbon by 2040.

We’ll be asking Kayleigh about:

  • What the MEP 2040 Challenge will mean for MEP systems manufacturers
  • The path the industry can take to achieve net zero in MEP by 2040
  • Why EPDs will be integral to solving the current data gaps
  • Plus answering your questions live

Thursday, March 7th | 10am ET/7am PT
