One Click LCA is the world-leading and rapidly growing Life-Cycle Assessment and Costing software for the construction industry. Why construction? Because buildings and construction cause one-third of global carbon emissions, and one half of raw material use. This industry determines our future. That’s why. One Click LCA helps projects to cut carbon, life-cycle costs and improve their circularity. The software is used in 55+ countries, by leaders such as Arup, Foster+Partners, Ramboll, Saint-Gobain, and Skanska as well as government clients such as Statsbygg of Norway. One Click LCA supports 40+ certifications, such as LEED and BREEAM.

You are cut out to succeed in this position when…

We require that you have a get-things-done attitude, you want to make a difference in this field and you are a fast and keen learner who wants to improve constantly. If you are not familiar with LCA data or scripting and data science tools yet, you must be willing to learn.

You are comfortable working with large sets of data and understand how it can be processed and automated. You love to improve things and make them work. You are mentally flexible and able to test various solutions before committing to one of them and document diligently the processes.

We value demonstrated relevant achievements, competence and experience, LCA understanding and construction industry knowledge, and relevant engineering or scientific education. Skills working with data for example in statistics, applied mathematics or other contexts is beneficial.

While this position does not require previous programming experience, it’s highly beneficial. Willingness to write scripts (e.g. in Python) is needed, even if most software is developed by others.

English fluency is expected. Finnish language skill is not required for this position, nor is it an advantage.

This position is in Helsinki, Finland. This position can be filled at an experienced or trainee level.

Examples of things you would be working with in this position

  • collaboratively design and improve our data integration architecture and processes
  • test different data integration and qualification solutions with the development team
  • support our LCA data engineers with solutions increasing their productivity and quality
  • define and manage development of software tools for data integration and qualification
  • write (simpler) scripts and tools supporting the above tasks, most likely in Python
  • run ad-hoc data analyses to understand opportunities for improvement
