Latest version of Ökobau.dat is available with additional Spanish and Polish datasets

The construction materials LCA database has also been updated with latest version of the Ökobau.dat as well as with significant Spanish and Polish datasets. Each datapoint has undergone a rigorous quality assurance process by our LCA engineers. The datasets are available for Life-Cycle Assessment users of DGNB (German and International versions) as well as for users of LEED, BREEAM and other applications. As before the update, the users can continue to enjoy the high-quality EPDs from IBU and other sources integrated in the platform.

Ökobau.dat is a German database for construction materials and building services made available by the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development (BBSR). The aim of the database is to provide harmonized data for environmental assessments of buildings and different construction materials, serving all architects, planners and LCA practitioners who make life-cycle assessments in the building sector.
