We are looking for a Program manager, global low carbon construction network to join our fast-growing team. You will have a key position in a forerunning, fast growing construction sustainability software company. This is your chance to shape and speed up low carbon construction globally.

The core purpose of this role is to advance low carbon construction materials design and procurement practises globally and to build, coordinate and support a network of local hubs to mainstream low carbon design, procurement and manufacturing in the construction sector. This role is part of our non-profit activity.

The role will work globally, with priority given to markets where our actions can have a significant impact on decarbonising construction design and manufacturing sector.

About the position

You will have a strong knowledge of low carbon construction, including impact of materials, or sufficient basis and motivation to become expert in this area.

The purpose of this role is to help markets transform the construction materials design, procurement and manufacturing practises to less carbon intensive ones.

To achieve this, you’ll be building, coordinating, supporting and activating a network of local organisations who shall advance the mission in their respective countries. You will build a global network of partners and put the fire in their bellies to drive change. This is powered by a new free to use low carbon design software we launch.

The role involves liaising with NGOs, funders, cities, regulators and other organisations globally, and where appropriate, fundraising and managing delivery of technical assistance programs or specific projects to achieve these goals.

You’ll be able to listen and understand the needs of the local organisations and find solutions to best address them, and when needed challenge them with your expertise. You are also in pivotal role to develop relationships helping us to succeed in the long term. You will also support product development relevant for these goals.

Full professional proficiency in English is required.

We require that you have a get-things-done attitude, ability to work independently and you want to make a difference in this field. Also, you are a fast learner who wants to improve constantly.

We value demonstrated track record of achievement in building networks, relevant competence and experience and industry knowledge, and relevant education. This position is available preferably in Helsinki, other locations may be considered.
