One Click LCA partners with Sumitomo Forestry Co. to help to decarbonise construction in Japan
Awareness of the need to tackle embodied carbon is growing in Europe, but in many other parts of the world, including Japan, efforts to decarbonise construction continue to focus on operational energy use.
One Click LCA has partnered with Sumitomo Forestry Co., a Japanese timber and wooden building materials and housing company, who will resell One Click LCA in Japan and provide first level user support in Japanese.
The partnership aims to raise awareness of the need to calculate and reduce whole-life carbon emissions to reach carbon neutrality in construction. In addition, One Click LCA’s building LCA and Carbon Designer tools are now available in the Japanese language.
