SE 2050, the Structural Engineers 2050 Commitment Program, aims to transform the practice of structural engineering to help firms work toward net-zero embodied carbon structural systems by 2050.
It is a response to the challenge set by the Carbon Leadership Forum in 2019 that: ‘All structural engineers shall understand, reduce and ultimately eliminate embodied carbon in their projects by 2050.’
