One Click LCA Zero is a free product carbon tool for construction product manufacturers. It allows you to calculate a product’s carbon footprint in line with EN 15804 and ISO 21930 standards, benchmark results and identify carbon reductions.

It allows you to use supplier-specific EPDs as well as an extensive library of generic material impact profiles in your calculations. You can quickly zoom in to the key carbon impact drivers and start creating reduction options and implement them to create new, distinctly different, documented and sought-after low-carbon products!

Carbon Heroes Benchmark

Know where you stand versus the market requirements and your competition. You have access to a selection of public EPDs to compare your product against, and a new benchmarking feature is under way. Why One Click LCA Zero?

There can be no low carbon construction without low carbon products. One Click LCA Zero is born out of the necessity for all manufacturers to reduce and declare the carbon impacts from their products. One Click LCA Zero removes the cost barrier of product carbon transparency for manufacturers, and allows developing internal understanding of carbon impact drivers and decarbonisation measures.

What can I calculate with the software?

You can calculate a product’s cradle-to-gate carbon footprint, or manufacturing stage carbon footprint (A1-A3). We currently focus on the product categories with the biggest climate impact. The software is made for cement, concrete, cementious product, steel and aluminium-based product, construction element made from concrete, wood and steel, as well as window, facade and door manufacturers.

What standards does it follow?

One Click LCA Zero is aligned with ISO 21930 and EN 15804 standards for the life-cycle model, but it’s results are always self-declared environmental claims as per ISO 14021. The climate impact characterisation allows using various characterisations in different regions – CML, TRACI or PEF-aligned EN 15804:2019+A2.

What data does the software include?

It includes database of over 15 000 environmental impact profiles covering the most common manufacturing inputs for targeted product categories. The database includes both supplier-specific EPDs as well as generic environmental impact profiles, and a set of manufacturing process data. The database is updated with new data, so if an EPD has been published by your supplier, it will be automatically made available in the software (assuming it passes our data quality criteria).

How is One Click LCA Zero different from paid versions of the software?

One Click LCA Zero is limited to a single impact category, life-cycle scopes A1-A3 and a subset of freely available environmental impact database. It cannot be used to create an EPD, which require a significantly broader set of descriptive and environmental impact data.

One Click LCA EPD Generator can support all life-cycle stages, has access to the entire Ecoinvent environmental impact database and broader set of EPDs, and can be used to calculate and generate standards-compliant EPDs. The paid versions of the software also come with advanced functionality and great customer support.
