Data Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Data Quality Engineer to join our growing product development team. Our software is a cloud-based Life-Cycle Assessment platform, used in 100 countries. You will have an important role in ensuring that we deliver the best quality product to our customers. You will strengthen our current team developing world-leading One Click LCA software platform that helps reduce carbon emissions. This position provides you technical challenges, meaningful mission, autonomy, and room for development. This role is available globally on a remote basis.

What you’ll do:

Perform data quality audits of the One Click LCA’s database comprising of over 100 000 Life-Cycle Assessment datasets related to materials, energy and processes
Define, develop and use automated software tools that help assess the data quality, partly yourself and partly have others develop them (predominantly using Python)
Analyse and define potential data quality issues and create data quality issues reports
Perform minor data related fixes directly
Work towards increasing overall database quality and reduce number of data issues
Oversee the quality of work related to data delivery from internal and external sources
Document the data quality processes & procedures
Identify areas to improve efficiency and quality

What you need:

At least 2 years of experience relating to LCA, as a data analyst or similar data driven role
Professional experience with Python and interest in learning more
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and quality
Attitude to get things done in a timely manner
Passion for creating and improving processes
Clear and direct style of communication
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (computer science, environmental engineering)
Full professional fluency in English
